Privacy policy

What we do with the information you entrust to us through this site.

Horizon Performances attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This page explains what data we collect through this site, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data controller

Horizon Performances, 41, boulevard Zerktouni, 6th floor, office 22, Casablanca, Morocco — contact@horizon-performances.com.

The data we collect

Only what you enter in our forms and in the online adviser:

  • Contact: first name, surname, organisation, email, telephone, subject and message;
  • Become a partner: your organisation’s contact details and your request;
  • Horizon Lab — submit a project: first name, surname, email, country, profile, field, project description and, where applicable, the attachment;
  • Horizon Lab — become a partner: representative, organisation, email, telephone, country, type of organisation, area of interest and, where applicable, the attachment;
  • Online adviser: the messages you write and, if you ask to be contacted, the contact details you provide.

Required fields are marked on each form; without them, we cannot reply to you.

Why we collect it

  • to answer your request for information, training, certification or a consulting assignment;
  • to review and follow up your Horizon Lab application or project;
  • to follow up on a partnership proposal;
  • to guide you through our services and, at your request, pass your needs on to one of the firm’s advisers (online adviser).

We do not use it for any other purpose, we do not sell it and we do not add you to any mailing list without your consent.

Who receives it

Your message is forwarded by email to the Horizon Performances team responsible for replying. To do this, we use three service providers:

  • Hostinger, which hosts the site and the service that receives the forms, on a server located in France;
  • Google (Gmail), our email service;
  • OpenAI (United States), which provides the artificial intelligence model behind the online adviser: it receives the messages in the conversation in order to draft the replies and, under the terms of use of its business service, does not use them to train its models.

These providers process the data solely on our behalf. Your data may therefore be hosted outside Morocco.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept for three years after our last exchange, then deleted. Horizon Lab projects that are not selected are deleted one year after our reply.

Online adviser conversations are erased from our service every evening, after a summary has been sent to the team; that summary and any requests passed on are kept like other requests.

Cookies and external services

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are served from our own server.

We measure site traffic with Umami, a tool installed on our own server: no cookies, no storage of your IP address and nothing passed to third parties. We only draw aggregate figures from it: pages viewed, country, referring site, device type, and the number of clicks on our documents and contact options.

The online adviser keeps the current conversation in your browser (session storage) so that it follows you from page to page; it is erased when you close the tab. It is not a tracking cookie.

The home page displays YouTube video thumbnails: to show them, your browser requests them from YouTube (Google), which then receives your IP address. The video itself only opens on YouTube if you click on it.

Your rights

You have the right to access and rectify your data and to object to its processing (Articles 7, 8 and 9 of Law 09-08). To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@horizon-performances.com or at our registered office, stating your request; we will reply as soon as possible.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel), Morocco’s data protection authority, www.cndp.ma.
